School Librarian
St. Mary's Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled school librarian to cultivate a love for reading, research and lifelong learning in our students while upholding Catholic values. The librarian will oversee the school library, manage its resources, support curriculum objectives and foster an environment that integrates faith and knowledge. Must maintain a well organized and orderly library at all times. Develop and implement library programs that support literacy, research skills, and information literacy for students in all grade levels.
Responsibilities
Maintain and organize the school library and its inventory. Oversee the spring and fall book fairs. Stay current with trends in library science, technology and education. Educate students on responsible digital citizenship and ethical research practices. Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into classroom instruction.
This position is a part time position.
