Rural Libraries
The Rural Libraries SIG supports and furthers the efficacy of rural libraries in New Mexico through Cross pollination of ideas and sustainability efforts seeking to strengthen and further library services statewide, especially in struggling rural communities. Rural libraries are often smaller and/or non-municipal. This groups comes together to support each other, brainstorm solutions to problems and discuss issues that related specifically to the needs, interests and economic realities of rural communities.
