We are currently seeking candidates for our May 17, 2010 training session. Candidates must be willing to relocate within the state of New Mexico upon completion of the program.
Job Program Overview:
The program focuses on training ambitious and motivated entry level to experienced retail professionals who are seeking an opportunity to join the industry leader in college bookstore management. Our Management Training Programs are designed to complement varying levels of experience. The on-the-job training, combined with formal classroom instruction and mentoring, provides you with personalized attention to prepare you for one of our dynamic management opportunities.
Required Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree required
2. Ability to relocate within targeted regions
3. Minimum of 1-2 years retail experience; previous supervisory experience is preferred
4. Strong business acumen with an understanding of financial concepts to operate a retail environment
5. Superior customer service abilities
6. Solid leadership abilities to cultivate business partnerships and successfully manage a store staff
7. Strong computer proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook with the ability to efficiently learn new technologies
8. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
9. Superior verbal and written communication skills
10. Must be able to travel; extended overnight stays possible
