2015 Annual Conference


The 2015 New Mexico Library Association’s Annual Conference will be held October 21st – 23rd

Our conference theme this year is “Create  Connect  Transform”; and it’s shaping up to be an awesome event that you won’t want to miss. Our conference logo was designed by Carlos Vargas, a talented student at the Southwest University of Visual Arts.

We will feature a full slate of engaging and informative presentations, special interest group meetings, opportunities to interact with vendors, and chances to network with your colleagues. Online registration for the conference and the official call for program proposals will be opening up soon so check back in a few weeks.

All program submissions must be postmarked or date-stamped by August 24, 2015, for consideration. Generally, programs are accepted on a first-come, first served basis – to the maximum number allowed by the space constraints of the conference venue. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Call for Program Proposals

Help guide the conversation as we gather in Albuquerque to “Create Connect Transform” ! Have you implemented new services or technologies at your library? What challenges are you facing?  Do you have practical tips and ideas to share with your colleagues? We welcome proposals that can inspire, encourage and teach us new and exciting ways to meet the needs of New Mexicans and transform libraries throughout the state.

The deadline to submit proposals for the 2015 NMLA Annual Conference in Albuquerque is August 24.

Please send Exhibitor Contract and the Sponsorship Opportunities form via mail or email as a PDF to annual_conference@nmla.org.  With these forms, you must submit a check or purchase order, or you can pay on the NMLA Store with credit card or PayPal.

Contract must be received by October 1, 2015, to be included in the Annual Conference Program.  Full payment must be received by October 16, 2015.
